UK Electronic Act Rudimental Reveal Upcoming Studio Session With Nas (1)

British electronic act Rudimental are having the best year ever. The critically-acclaimed quartet landed nods at the BRIT Awards, MTV EMAs, MOBO Awards and the Mercury Prize. Plus, snagged Nas to rhyme on a remix of their new single "Free" featuring Emeli Sande. The lads tell Fuse it's about to get even better, revealing an upcoming studio session with the veteran MC at Voodoo Music Fest.

"We sent 'Free' to him as a long shot," explains Piers Agget of how the initial reach out. "We thought, 'He's never ever going to do it.' But we wanted to get him on the song and he actually liked it! He said, 'Yes, this is wicked!' Nas is a massive inspiration for us, Illmatic was one of our favorite albums. It's a dream come true."

Adds Amir Amor, "He's actually called us back to do a session with him, so we're going back to New York to do a session with him there. It's unbelievable."
