Watch U2 Cover "Get Lucky," Lou Reed & David Bowie
Well, this was unexpected. During an afterparty for a (RED) charity benefit, U2's Bono and the Edge joined disco legend and Daft Punk collaborator Nile Rodgers onstage for an impromptu karaoke jam that included "Get Lucky," Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" (with Coldplay's Chris Martin) and David Bowie's Rodgers-produced "Let's Dance."
Like any fun karaoke performance, Bono messes up a few words but also, it's BONO SINGING DAFT PUNK SO GET OVER IT, PURISTS!
Check out Bono and Martin's Lou Reed tribute below and watch the 1 percent awkwardly dance in "Let's Dance." But it's for charity, so be nice.
