This hasn't been the best year for energetic soul singer Sharon Jones, who announced in June that she had stage 1 bile duct cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy to fight the disease. While the singer had the tumor removed and is currently recovering in upstate New York, Jones is still gearing up for the January 14 release of her new album Give the People What They Want with longtime band the Dap-Kings.

As a teaser to get you in the Christmas spirit, the band released a new, animated video for their 2009 song "Ain't No Chimneys in the Projects." The video features a girl attempting to hang up Christmas lights on the roof of her building, only to come up a little short. Check it out above.
