Chromeo "Come Alive" With Toro y Moi's Help
As they gear up for an upcoming two-month tour, electro-funk duo Chromeo drops another gem from their upcoming album White Women, their first since 2010's Business Casual. "Come Alive" is a sprightly, bouncy jam recalling the best of Zapp and Ohio Players, augmented with vocals by Chaz Bundick of Toro y Moi.
"Toro is a new school funk disciple, like us" the band said in a statement. "Ever since we heard his music we wanted to unleash his inner Jermaine Stewart."
White Women is set for release this spring and features contributions from Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Solange and LCD Soundsystem's Pat Mahoney.
