Charli XCX on New Punk-Inspired Album & 'Clueless' Video

"I'm here, again, yay!" Charli XCX excitedly said while hanging out with the Fuse crew in Austin, Texas for SXSW 2014. The young brit is performing an astonishing 13 times at this year’s festival, and she doesn't seem fazed by it, even though she’s simultaneously working on her new album. She says her next still-to-be-titled project will be more raw than her previous recordings, though adds her fans will not be disappointed.

"It's still a pop record 100 percent, but it's definitely punk inspired. I've been listening to a lot of Ramones, and Hives. I worked with Rivers [Cuomo] from Weezer,” she says.

The "SuperLove" songstress was also uber excited about getting props from actress Alicia Silverstone, via Twitter, for her recent collaboration with Iggy Azalea on the track "Fancy" and the music video's take on the classic teen film Clueless.

"Yeah, that's pretty sick."
