Lady Gaga's "G.U.Y." Video Enlists Real Housewives of Beverly Hills... And Gandhi
Clocking in at 11 minutes and 47 seconds, Lady Gaga’s new “G.U.Y” music video becomes her longest video yet, surpassing her nine-minute collab with Beyonce on "Telephone" in 2010. That being said, the actual video is over at just about eight minutes... then comes four minutes of credits.
Whatever unexpected twists come with Lady Gaga directing her own video? How about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills playing in a band, Bravo’s Andy Cohen appearing god-like in the clouds and Gaga resurrecting Jesus Christ, Gandhi and Michael Jackson. The plot of the video, from what can be pieced together, possibly revolves around Gaga getting revenge against greedy Wall Street-types who tried to shoot her down with an arrow. Back when she had bird wings. And all of this takes place at the estate of William Randolph Hearst.
It’s a thing of beauty that only Gaga could have dreamt up. Enjoy and be bewildered.
And if you're hungry for more Gaga, tune into Fuse to see her news-making performance from SXSW: Lady Gaga Live at the Doritos #BoldStage airs exclusively on Fuse on Saturday, March 29 at 10/9c.
