Prepare for a Musical Journey with 'The Fault in Our Stars'

Get ready to ride an emotional rollercoaster come June 6 when The Fault in Our Stars hits theaters. One of the year's most anticipated releases, the book-to-movie drama also happens to feature a soundtrack that'll make the film that much more memorable. While in Los Angeles for the official listening party, Fuse correspondent Yasmine Richard chatted with GrouploveCharli XCX and Ed Sheeran about their overall soundtrack experience.

"We went and saw a screening of the film, and we were all hysterical, but in a beautiful way," Grouplove recalls. "Right after the screening, we were shown what part of the film they were hoping [we] could write a song for. And literally, that day, we wrote the song."

Charli XCX, whose song wasn't originally intended for the film, is glad that it still fit the movie's theme. "I actually wrote it about a year ago," she explains. "But, it kind of fits. The song is about epic love, and the movie is about epic love."

And according to both Sheeran and The Fault in Our Stars author John Green, it's not possible to leave the theater without shedding a few tears.

"Apparently, gingers don't have souls, and I cried," Sheeran admits. "If you don't cry in it, it doesn't even mean you don't have a soul. It just means you're not even a person. You're just a twig."
