Lana Del Rey unleashed Ultraviolence today, and to celebrate she's also released a dreamy new video for the single "Shades of Cool." The clip starts off mysteriously, following an older gentlemen as he drives alongside a cityscape, alone.
Who is this guy? It's unclear, but one thing's for certain: He's got a thing for Lana. If you look closely, it appears Lana might only exist here as a long-lost lover from his past, or a fading memory of his wife. Or maybe his daughter.
He's always at the side of her when she's on frame, like he's watching over her, looking back. Whatever his deal is, the visual is a great accompaniment to one of Ultraviolence's stand-out tracks.
