Donald Faison Weighs in on Iggy Azalea and Return of 'Clueless'

When Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX brought back Clueless this past March, the '90s nostalgia was felt by both the fans and the original film cast. Wish I Was Here star and original Clueless actor Donald Faison, known to many as Murray Duvall, stopped by Top 20 Countdown to chat about the iconic flick's recent resurgence.

"It's flattering to see the work that you did years ago being used in music videos," the actor said. But when it came down to giving his honest opinion on the re-creation of his character, he joked, "I mean, there's only one dude that could play Murray. Let's keep it real."

But which singer has the chops to portray the instantly recognizable queen of Bronson Alcott High School, Cher Horowitz?

"Katy Perry would be great on Broadway," Faison said. "She has that dramatic flair to her stuff, so she'd be great as Cher."

And as for whether or not his on-screen girlfriend Stacey Dash could return as Dionne Davenport onstage, Faison tried not to burst host Esteban Serrano's bubble regarding Dash's singing abilities.
