R&B heads have been buzzing about rising New Orleans star Luke James, who recently dropped a new single, "Options," ahead of his forthcoming self-titled debut album. On the July 17 episode of Trending 10, the singer-songwriter stopped by the Fuse studios for an exclusive performance of the powerful, soulful slow jam.

After starting as a backup vocalist for Tyrese and later penning tracks for Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Britney Spears, James released his debut single, "I Want You," that later earned him a GRAMMYs nomination for Best R&B Performance. He was then brought on as Beyonce's opening act for her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour before focusing on the launch of his debut studio LP.
