Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Ibiza—the girls of Krewella have seen (and will see!) a ton of wild parties this summer, but they were thrilled to make their way home to Chicago for their set at Lollapalooza. "You can't get rid of us!" Jahan Yousaf joked backstage, referring to their multiple shows in the summer party capital of Europe. "It's just a good season in Ibiza for international DJs. Every night there's someone there ... they go out 'til 6am!"
According to Yasmin Yousaf, Krewella's German fans come out to party just as hard as the club kids in Ibiza. "They go nuts there," she tells Fuse's Esteban Serrano. "I don't know what's in the water, but they just love to rage!"
Life post-Lolla won't slow down for them, either: in addition to more tour dates and multiple jaunts to Vegas this summer, they're working on their second album in LA, an endeavor they've been looking forward to for ages.
"When we first started making the album we had the sound we wanted," says Yasmine. "We had the vision and the idea. Now, we're just basing everything we make off that vision. We're more excited about the music we're making now than we've ever been about the music that we've ever made. If that gives any hint as to what it's going to be like, it's going to be a lot of emotion, a lot of sweat and rage. A really fun album. We're having fun with it!"
