Jake Miller On What to Expect From His New Album: "Greatness"
Members of the Jake Miller "Millertary" will be pleased to hear that the rapper/singer is gearing up for the release of his second studio album, which he describes simply as "greatness." In addition to promoting the LP's lead single, "First Flight Home," the 21-year-old has been busy playing shows across the country.
While being on the road has its exciting moments, Miller admitted that he does feel homesick often. But rather than "crying himself to sleep," he channels his emotions into new material for fans to relate to. "I love seeing all my fans, meeting them; I love making music, performing the new music—I just love what I do!"
Miller also revealed a crucial piece of advice he would've given himself before his first live show, which happened to be with Snoop Dogg in front of over 5,000 fans.
"I would say 'look up!' because I looked down at the ground the entire time," he told Fuse host Katie Van Buren. "I didn't know how to perform, so I would go back in time to give him lessons on how to be confident and seem confident, at least, even if you're not."
