Boyz II Men are, by all means, a legendary R&B group–but after over 25 years together, they're changing more than ever. The trio stopped by Trending 10 today to talk Collide, their eleventh album, and why its their most diverse set of songs to date. Watch the interview above!
"We wanted to stand clear of the genre-based music," the group said about the album, which dropped last week.
"People know Boyz II Men is R&B, but the idea was to stand clear of genre and just make it all about the music. A lot of people don't know that we went to high school for creative and performing arts and we sang all kinds of music. So music, within us, has never been a genre."
Watch the full interview above for even more–the group discuss their residency at The Mirage in Las Vegas, along with Harry Styles and One Direction and who their favorite young men in music are.
