UPDATE (11/25): It's here! Fifth Harmony shared the official video for "Sledgehammer" early Tuesday morning. The tune, which channels Toto's "Africa," meshes well with the girls' sexy and sweet video: There's tons of sequins, sheer clothing and sensual camera pans. Check it out above.
Original Story: When Fifth Harmony last visited Fuse HQ, the girl group gave us the first hints about their upcoming "Sledgehammer" video, describing it as "sensual" and "dreamy" and adding that "you can expect what you're not expecting."
Case in point: If you thought "Sledgehammer" meant the quintet would be playing hammer-wielding construction workers, well, think again. In this 15-second clip, the girls are in full-glam mode sporting colorful train dresses, bedazzled tops and chic, all-white ensembles.
Meanwhile, a series of muscular dudes are swinging the sledgehammers as the girls handle the singing and posing. But we also spotted two humongous swings and Camila with a giant white horse, so we think there's much more coming from the girls for this vid.
MTV also shared a peep at the vid showcasing even more dreaminess and Ally belting her huge note on the bridge.
While we loved watching them as fierce, arm-wrestling runway models in "BO$$," we're pumped to see this new, sensual side of 5H. Stay tuned to Fuse for the full video we hear is coming very soon.
