Lorde and Taylor Swift Met At Shake Shack

When Taylor Swift shed her country/boy-obsessed image for full on pop music, she transformed into a young adult feminist, spending her time with the best and brightest women around. There's Lena Dunham, Selena GomezDemi Lovato... the list goes on and on! The most surprising is probably her friendship with goth queen and New Zealand teen Lorde, who it turns out, has a pretty good story about the dynamic duo came to be.

The young "Royals" singer visited Fallon yesterday to perform "Yellow Flicker Beat" from her Hunger Games - Mockingjay: Part 1 soundtrack and to chat all things Taylor.

"She sent me some flowers, which was so nice. She just sent them to my house and said 'Congratulations on everything.' I was like, 'God, I need to know more.' We actually met up here in New York," Lorde told Fallon. "We had Shake Shack which is kind of a good friendship bond with those thick-ass milkshakes." We couldn't agree more!
