UPDATE (1/7): It's here! Sia dropped the "Elastic Heart" video Wednesday afternoon and our suspicions were confirmed: Shia LaBeouf stars in the clip alongside the young "Chandelier" icon Maddie Ziegler. The two dance in a huge cage, contorting their bodies in an avant-garde dance routine. Eventually Ziegler escapes the enclosure, leaving LaBeouf behind. It's minimal and it's moving. Check it out above!
Original Story: Last year, reclusive pop star Sia made one of the year's best music videos with her "Chandelier" visual that starred an 11-year-old Maddie Ziegler personifying the singer's alcoholism.
In a teaser for Sia's newest video for "Elastic Heart," the torch singer has apparently re-teamed with her Dance Moms friend, now 12, for what looks like another intense routine. In the quick 15-second clip, we see Ziegler inside a huge cage donning her now-famous brown leotard and blonde bob wig. The dancer breathes heavily and stares down a man (who some are speculating is Shia LaBeouf after Sia tweeted at both the Transformer star and Ziegler) on the other side of the cage.
Will we get two leotard-clad dancers acting out Sia's lyrics this time? Too soon to tell, but we're excited.
Fans may remember hearing "Elastic Heart" on The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack from 2013. The Diplo-produced cut originally featured The Weeknd, but Sia recorded a solo version for her 1000 Forms of Fear LP.
The track appears to be the next Sia single (and sounds like it could rival the chart success of "Chandelier") while the Australian chanteuse readies not one, but two (!) albums for this year.
