Bring Me the Horizon Share "Happy Song," Sign to First Major Label

Update (7/14): Bring Me the Horizon have shared a new tune titled "Happy Song." It begins with cheerleaders chanting in their very cheerleader-y cadence about "spirit" over deep nu-metal guitar riffs. The song arrives with news that the band have left indie Epitaph Records for major label Columbia Records. Is a metalcore revival nigh? We can only hope. Listen to the new song above.

Original Story (7/6): Fans of Bring Me the Horizon have been losing it on the internet recently. It all started last week when mysterious images of an umbrella started appearing online and on the streets of London. The melancholic drawing shows rain inside the canopy, and what's more metalcore than that? Old school pop-punk fans might recall a similar image as used by Taking Back Sunday in the early aughts. See?

Before today, we only knew the 'rella was a BMTH thing because frontman Oli Sykes posted it on his Instagram. Today the band has posted a video tease on Facebook, also featuring the logo.

The clip taps out around 16 seconds. In it, we hear distorted, nightmarish music...almost like a song played backwards. Sykes vocals come in under the mix. What's going on here?
