Update (7/24): The music video for Janet Jackson's "No Sleeep," her first since 2010's "Nothing," has arrived! The album version, unveiled yesterday, features J. Cole, as does the video. Their chemistry's great, and Cole even managed to work in a Michael Jackson reference. (Speaking of the King: He would've loved the trippy effects "No Sleeep" uses in that mirror part.)
Go ahead and watch 49-year-old Janet bopping in her gorgeous home with wall-size family photos, a fireplace full of candles, and something like nine J. Coles. We're guessing Janet taking a sip of coffee is another hint that her first album in seven years is titled Conversations in a Cafe.

Today Janet's latest gets a lyric video that elevates what can often be a boring form. This one's got in-progress, in-the-studio lyric sheets, as well as imagery from the recording sessions.
Janet gets plenty of love for her place in the Jackson fam, her relationship to big bro Michael, her insane dance moves, her delectable fashions and more. The "No Sleeep" lyric video's a welcome reminder that Janet's got a hell of a way with words, too.
How many sleeps—er, sleeeps—till we get to hear the record? And is it actually called Conversations in a Cafe? And is that a reference to Jerry Seinfeld's web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee?
