We know One Direction are always out and about doing sweet things for their fans. Now the British boy band are taking that energy and channeling it into something that could benefit the entire planet.
Early Wednesday morning the crew announced the launch of a new charity initiative called "Action1D." In a video explaining the project, the boys ask their Directioners to share with them how they want the world to look like in the future.
Harry Styles opens the clip:
"2015 is a year like no other and we want you to really make it count. You guys are really amazing and over the years you've shown us what you can achieve if you rally together. In two historic summits in September and December, world leaders will make decisions that effect important human issues like extreme poverty, inequality and climate change."
Then Louis Tomlinson takes over:
"Now is the time for us all to have our say, to take action and to raise our voices to show that we care. We can be a part of something that actually makes a different to our future and helps people that need the support."
Want to get involved? Liam Payne has you covered:
"All you need to do is tell us what you want your world to look like in the future. You can make videos or send us pics, it's easy. Just complete one of the actions listed on our site."
