Full-Length 'Steve Jobs' Trailer: Apple's Frontman Was Kind of a Madman
Last month's Steve Jobs teaser freaking floored us. Director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, 28 Days Later...) and screenwriter/show creator Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, The West Wing, A Few Good Men) have something sharp on their hands, without a doubt.
Today we've got an almost-three-minute trailer that shows exactly what a warts-and-all portrait this should be. Seth Rogen's Steve Wozniak—Jobs' Apple cofounder—seems super anti-Other Steve. Michael Fassbender's titular visionary has a real visionary complex. He's the kind of guy that gave us the iMac and iTunes and the iPhone and all other good things in life—and a guy who couldn't possibly have been a perfectly lovely fellow among all that.
Steve Jobs will largely take place at three key Apple product launches. Costarring with Oscar nominee Michael Fassbender are Oscar-winner Kate Winslet, four-time Golden Globe nominee Jeff Daniels and Katherine Waterston, a.k.a. Inherent Vice's Shasta Fay Hepworth. The flick's coming to theaters October 9. We are first in line, but you can be second.
