Taylor Swift's latest 1989 tour stop was a night to remember—for reasons both good and bad.
Let's start with the bad: During the first Washington D.C. gig, Tay found herself in a scary situation when her extendable stage platform stopped working, ultimately leaving her trapped in mid-air above the thousands of concertgoers at Nationals Park.
But in true T-Swift form, the singer was sure to shake off any nerves. Watch video footage above that shows her smiling, joking at the situation and using her time to perform her 1989 cut "Clean" with just her guitar.
The two came together to perform a duet of "Royals" with Swift acting as backup vocalist to the Pure Heroine diva on the chorus and taking up the second verse on her own. Watch fan-recorded video of the performance below:
