Watch a Tortilla Become an Actually Playable Record on a Record Player

Someone should call the folks at Record Store Day; we've got a million dollar idea for them. If you've ever seen a vinyl album get pressed, you know the process involves, well, vinyl, a laser, a machine and some patience.

But what if you used something instead of vinyl? What if food could make sound when you dropped the needle? That appears to be the logic behind one genius internet man, who pressed a record on a tortilla. Really!

In the video above, you'll see a regular, store bought tortilla turn into music...almost like magic. We would say try it at home but that requires thousands of dollars of equipment.

If you're looking for new tunes of the regular, non-corn-based variety, check out the 27 best albums we've heard this year so far.
