Twenty One Pilots are having quite the year. The duo's fourth studio album, Blurryface, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, an experience neither member was expecting, especially for such a conceptual record. "Blurryface is a character that really represents everything that I'm insecure about as an individual, and so it helped for me to pick a name and give this person a back story, and a seat at the table that I could look across and really address those insecurities," singer Tyler Joseph told us in an exclusive interview while on the ground at Bonnaroo.
Today we get another glimpse into their Blurryface world with the official video for their single, "Lane Boy."
The video opens with Joseph doing a choreographed dance with two men in matching hazmat suits. The creepy imagery is spliced with shots of the band performing live in front of thousands of screaming fans, perhaps at a festival.
Watch it above, then revisit their "Holding On To You" music video. Strange visuals seem to be their thing, huh?
