There's no shortage of incredible EDM acts at Lollapalooza this year (just ask our friends Kygo and Kaskade,) and Dillon Francis is no exception. When the guy isn't surprising the world with collaborations with Panic! at the Disco's Brendon Urie, he's killing it on stage. We caught up with the delightful DJ on the ground at Lolla this year to chat Zedd, his love of donuts and more.
"I do have a tour with Zedd coming up in October, [it's] probably going to be the most fun tour ever," Francis told Fuse. "When he and I hang out, it's just nonstop fun. The places we're playing are huge...I've never really done that before!"
The conversation shifted to Francis' "Exit Through the Donut Hole," music video, a short, absurdist film inspired by the DJ's love of the pastry. "We made a music video and we got so much footage that we were like, 'Oh, we might as well make this a short film.' That's what we decided to do. The whole thing was donuts and crisis control because cops were eating my family. It's a nice coming of age take of being a donut. I just love donuts because they taste so good! My favorite is glazed."
