"The success of 'Shut Up and Dance' has been pretty mindblowing," singer Nicholas Petricca told Fuse. "We have been ambitious from the start; y'know, we always hoped that it would skyrocket and take us around the world. It's amazing to feel like the song isn't just contained in America, that we have a life outside the states. It's really exciting to take it a whole other world of people."
The Cincinnati band also spoke with us about performing with Taylor Swift on her 1989 Tour ("She was so welcoming from moment one, she ran up and gave us a big hug right when we arrived"), opening for the Rolling Stones and more.
