Adam Lambert's single "Ghost Town" is becoming a slow-burning hit, reaching a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100 this week when it jumped to No. 64. So when Adam and Queen performed in Sao Paolo, they had to do the track...with a glam-rock makeover though, of course.
Watch footage from the Brazilian performance above, with the dark house production of the original replaced with Brian May's shredding. At one point the rock god transforms the single's addictive whistle hook into an electric guitar solo line. Adam's vocals are on-point too, hitting the shriek-level high notes with ease.
Lambert's (excellent and underrated) discography hasn't been featured much during his live shows with Queen, so it was certainly a treat for fans to hear his pop music get the classic-rock treatment.
We wouldn't hate hearing a few other Original High tunes backed by Queen either...just sayin'...
