With their X Factor origins, humongous fandoms and a lovely little thing that used to be known as "Zerrie," Little Mix have been linked with One Direction since their inception. Both acts have been insanely supportive of the others' careers and it looks like that isn't stopping anytime soon even in this post-Zayn Malik world.
The LM ladies appeared on Capital FM's radio show, where they were tasked with impromptu karaoke sessions. The girls brought their signature harmonies to Ellie Goulding's "On My Mind," The Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men" and even 1D's latest hit "Drag Me Down." The latter definitely pumped up the gals the most and it's great to hear them give a spin to the track.
The LM-1D love looks to continue even further with the girls recently revealing that One Direction hunk Liam Payne expressed interest in working on their next album. Member Jade Thirlwall told The Sun:
"We definitely want to collaborate with One Direction. We saw Liam at the [Apple Music Festival] gig and he said he wanted to write with us for the next album, so that would be good."
While fans may have expected some bad blood between the groups after Zayn and LM's Perrie Edwards called off their engagement, it looks like there's nothing but love between the labelmates. Now, let's start pressuring them for a full-on group collaboration.
