Watch The London Souls Talk Inspirations & Pope Hopes at Landmark Music Fest 2015

The London Souls brought the rock to D.C.’s Landmark Music Festival yesterday (Sept. 26), but they also made time to chat with Fuse about what guitarist/singer Tash Neal describes as the “life and death experiences” that went into making recent album Here Come The Girls, how “playing it live has been a real thrill,” and their hopes for getting the Pope to catch their set. The New York duo also delved into their sound. “It’s a different inspiration every day," said drummer/vocalist Chris St. Hilaire.

“One day it could be Sly and the Family Stone, the next day it could be Neil Young, the next day it could be Biggie Smalls. You never know,” Tash explained.

And what about the Pope? "We just missed him," said Tash. “He was on the [guest] list,” Chris quipped.
