Watch 5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford Perform With All Time Low
Friday marked the release of 5 Seconds of Summer's sophomore effort, Sounds Good Feels Good. It's a much more adult record than their first in almost every sense of the word: It's darker, it's brooding, it's complicated. The band performed a few tracks from the album at a Hot Topic in Hollywood (read about that there) which meant their evening was probably pretty free to do whatever the hell they wanted.
The Aussie band are close with All Time Low (frontman Alex Gaskarth has more than a couple writing credits on their discography) so when Michael Clifford decided to join the group at their packed arena gig at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium that night, it was a welcomed surprise, but not a totally unexpected one.
