Drake's "Hotline Bling" has been ringing from just about every nearby speaker since August. And now it's inspired the first music video since July's "Energy," which saw Drizzy playing Miley Cyrus, President Barack Obama, Oprah and more.
The "Hotline Bling" video is simple but effective, just like the song itself: Drake dances his way through a visual wonderland. It's no "Started From The Bottom" or "Hold On, We're Going Home," but sometimes it's okay for the boy to change it up.
"Hotline Bling" appears destined to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as long as it can unseat the Weeknd's "The Hills." Last week Drake enthusiastically acknowledged the possibility, saying, "If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool."
Time to find out if the video makes that moment a reality.
