Watch a 3-Year-Old DJ Win 'South Africa's Got Talent'
SA's Got Talent, the South African offshoot of the international TV competition that began in the U.S. in 2006, finished its sixth season this week. The winner of the 500,000-rand prize (equal to $35,055) was three-year-old DJ Arch Jnr, the show's youngest-ever victor by a long shot.
Performing with an elaborate setup in front of an alphabet-block-style set, the suit-coated mini-DJ won over the judges and crowd as handily as he did in his earlier sets. In the finale, he defeated a ventriloquist, a dance crew and several musicians.
