"Makeshift Love" could fit easily on The Young and the Hopeless perhaps with only one real change: Benji, Joel and crew have grown up. The things they write about have matured around them. And, in 2015, it probably involves technology.
In the band's video for the tune, the Madden brothers work at a start up for the BRK APP, a device that allows you to plan the perfect breakup.
Basically, you text the service, and then a member of Good Charlotte delivers the bad news to your soon-to-be ex. Sounds pretty helpful, right?
