Bebe Rexha dropped her first collection, the I Don't Wanna Grow Up EP, back in May; she also popped up on tracks with David Guetta and Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy and Nico & Vinz. So you can probably guess 2015 ended up being a great year for the 26-year-old Brooklyn native, who's still pinching herself at the reality of being a professional musician. Her highlights, she tells Fuse, including touring with Nick Jonas as well as playing in Europe and on Warped Tour. In other words, "Just being able to be me and making amazing music and just, like, traveling the world."
Looking ahead, she says, "I'm gonna be one of the breakout artists of 2-16 because...I've just been hearing what people are doing too and it's just not as hot." She laughs, but we think she's onto something.
Rexha's main resolution going into the new year? "Balance. I think that's the most important thing." She's grinding for female empowerment, true happiness, good food and qual-time with family and friends. "I want people to be happy. Life is hard, it is. And it's like, I don't want anybody feeling any pain. I just want us to all have a good time and to party and enjoy this life, because it's too short. It's too short."
