Darrell Wallace, Jr., aka Bubba Wallace, is a professional stock car race driver. Wallace can be seen driving the No. 6 car for Roush Fenway Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Only 22 years old, Wallace has been in 83 races during his NASCAR career, tallying up 5 wins and 44 top ten finishes. He was also named the K&N Pro Series East Rookie of the Year in 2010, something his family may have been able to predict when he won his very first race at age nine.
Wallace has shown he's a stud on the track, but when it comes to race day, what is he listening to before the green flag drops? "Heavy breakdown stuff, I'm all about. It's kinda like the heavy metal screamo stuff," Wallace said. He admits it takes him a few years to actually understand what they're saying, but that's not why he's a fan: as long as the song has a good breakdown and a great guitar riff, he's in.
