When it comes to the best players in the WNBA, Angel McCoughtry is the cream of the crop. She played college ball at the University of Louisville, breaking numerous school records. In 2009, she was selected first overall by the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA draft. That same year, she was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year. Now in her sixth year in the league, she's been a four-time all-star, two-time scoring champ and led the league in steals twice.
While McCoughtry clearly has a love and respect for basketball, she's also a musician, and has a newfound respect for the late Amy Winehouse after watching the Oscar-winning documentary Amy. "Her music was organic, and she wrote all her songs," McCoughtry told us. Watch the clip for more.
