We loved the theme of debating one's identity in The Summer Set's new single, "Figure Me Out," and the warm, uplifting atmosphere the Arizona outfit created for its accompanying visual made the message hit that much harder. Now, Fuse brings you an behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video that you can watch exclusive here.
Watch above as the band members and director talk about bringing 100 lamp shades and a wall of amps to create the right mood for the video. There's some insight into how the song was created ("This song is just me trying to get one step closer to being myself" singer Brian Logan Dales tells us), plus how they band performed in double time (Drummer Jess Bowen warns, "I'm going to look so crazy and so weird").
The Summer Set's new album Stories for Monday, drops on April 1 via Fearless Records. In addition to their material, the exclusive clip also sees the band discussing their excitement to reconnect with their fans. Bowen adds:
"I'm so excited to get back on the road. We took the whole last year off and, to say the least, I've been a little antsy, so I can't wait to get back on the road, just play shows again, meet all the fans and hang out."
