Camryn has moved from putting her tracks on YouTube over a half-decade ago to starring in eye-popping music videos that showcase her anthemic pop songwriting. “Machines” has received a futuristic clip, premiering exclusively on Fuse today (Apr. 7)!
The Denver native has hinted at her talent on YouTube and while performing on tour with artists like Cody Simpson and Allstar Weekend, but “Machines” and its accompanying music video seems to capture something special. The single, released last month, builds upon earlier tracks like “Lovesick” and “Now or Never,” and hints at a promising debut EP, due later this year.
"The making of the video for 'Machines' was a very personal project for me,” she says. “I was involved in the entire process and was able to watch an idea I had become a reality! The video was inspired by the book 1984 by George Orwell. I thought that reference was a perfect fit because it gives a powerful statement about political and societal forces that is more relevant now than ever before! I hope it inspires my fans to always speak their truth and stand up for what they believe in.”
