Jai Courtney may be playing a supervillian in the upcoming Suicide Squad film, but the Australian actor plans to show a more heartfelt side to audiences this year. In this Fuse interview, he discussed his new project— a documentary titled Be Here Now (The Andy Whitfield Story).
"Andy was a loving father and husband, a cheeky bastard and just a good loyal mate," Courtney said about the late actor/friend who passed away from non-Hodgkin lymphoma in 2011.
Watch the interview above, and look out for Be Here Now, now playing in select theaters on April 8 in New York and April 15 in Los Angeles. Click here to check out the latest trailer for Suicide Squad, which arrives on August 5.
