As Fuse chatted with Panic! at the Disco's Brendon Urie at the 2016 Beale Street Music Festival this weekend, he spoke openly about the "liberating" aspects of "doing the solo thing with Panic! now," as well his thoughts on touring and collaborating with Weezer. Check out what he had to say in the video player above.
"Now it's kind of more dangerous," a smiling Urie says of directing Panic! on his own, "because I don't have any limitations. So any crazy thing that pops into my head, I'm like, 'Yup, I'm doing this.'"
On the Weezer front, not only has Urie enjoyed being on the road with them, but he recalls the moment Rivers Cuomo stepped in to assist with Panic! music. "I wasn't asking for help, but Rivers heard it and was like, 'I might have an idea.'"
Panic! at the Disco's co-headlining tour with Weezer kicks off June 10 in Houston. Check out all of the PatD/Weezer tour dates here.
And while you're at it. Check out more Fuse video with Brendon at Beale Street. Below, he chats about the festival, and his thoughts on fests in general.
