There's a reason Good Charlotte has been entertaining huge crowd for more than 20 years, and it has less to do with an intense passion of hard rocking than you may think. The band emphasize the importance of "good manners and being kind" to everyone you encounter as a musician.
Joel Madden maybe put it best:
"It's only music: What we do isn't so serious that we should be offended by anyone. For us, it's always been about trying to be kind to each other and to other people, enjoy it and just take it all lightly. Work hard, but at the end of the day it's just music and we all feel like what's served us the most is being friends with people and having so many friends everywhere we go from the years of touring."
