Yo Gotti dominated the rap game with his "Down in the DM" single, whose success led to things like joining DJ Khaled on stage at one of Beyoncé's Formation World Tour stops. During the recent Beale Street Music Festival, the rapper (who also hails from Memphis) expressed his love for touring with Fuse:
"To me there's nothing equivalent to the energy the artist and the fans share on the stage. It's better than any part of the music business, that's my favorite part. So I love doing shows, I love being on tours and the whole lifestyle behind it."
He also chatted about working with Meghan Trainor on Thank You's "Better," calling the experience "dope." "Dealing with artist to artist, she actually hit me herself to do the record. So we got the record done by communicating and making it the best it could be," the rapper recalled.
