Zara Larsson on the Personal Importance of 'Never Forget You': Fuse First Interview

It's a huge moment when an artist finally snags that breakout hit that propels them into the pop stratosphere, but for Zara Larsson, that process was personal. The Swedish singer dreamt of superstardom since elementary school, but only recently topped the charts worldwide with "Never Forget You." Her thunderous collaboration with the British singer-producer MNEK continues to rise on the charts and is special for marking the 18-year-old's songwriting debut:

"'Never Forget You' was the first song I'd written myself, together with MNEK and [producer-songwriter] Astronomy. For people to really like that song and that song to be big here, it's like, 'Wow. Thank you.' That's a big thing for me.'"

Fuse is proud to champion such a promising singer-songwriter and is happy to name Larsson our new Fuse First artist. Watch above as Larsson further explains the significance of "Never Forget You" in her career, as well as the importance of the story in its accompanying music video.
