While at Bonnaroo 2016, Elena Tonra and Igor Haefeli of the indie folk band Daughter chatted with Fuse about their first-time 'Roo experience. “I think some of the festivals we’ve been to before are maybe a bit more of a sterile setting, and here it feels a little more fun and I’m sure in the evening it’ll get quirkier,” Haefeli comments.
The two bandmates also spoke about what it’s like to play new material in the festival environment and what music they’ve had the chance to revisit since recording their album. For Tonra, she’s been able to listen to Sufjan Steven’s 2015 album Carrie & Lowell.
