Amy Ray and Emily Saliers have been playing together as Indigo Girls for over three decades now, and have forged an impressive place in the rock canon. During a recent catch-up with the duo at the Beale Street Music Festival, Indigo Girls shared some of their secrets for being able to coexist for a such long time.
“We’re tied,” Saliers tells Fuse. “It’s a very rare and awesome gift to have, in the midst of all the music stuff too.”
