Is the Democratic Party United? Crash the Parties Goes Inside the DNC

This year, Fuse and VotoLatino have teamed up for Crash the Parties, giving two young aspiring reporters the chance to cover the 2016 Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Arlene Santana is on the ground at the DNC all week long, and as she arrived in Philadelphia, disharmony between Hillary Clinton diehards and Bernie Sanders supporters defined the start of her journey through the Democratic National Convention.

Watch above as the rising host and actress speaks to both sides of the debate and captures the enormity of the moment in Philly. Before Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders spoke on Monday night, the message from the crowd was clear: Defeat the Republican Party at all costs in November. “We have to make sure that Trump does not ruin the future of our children, of our grandchildren,” says Utah delegate Josie Valdez.

Keep it locked on Fuse.tv and Crashtheparties16.com this week for the rest of the Democratic National Convention. And be sure to follow @fusetv on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for further coverage of the DNC.
