This year, Fuse and Voto Latino have teamed up for Crash The Parties, allowing two aspiring reporters to cover the 2016 Democratic and Republican National Conventions in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Arlene Santana has been covering the DNC in Philadelphia all week long, and on Wednesday, she explored a world of art, activism and speech that didn't necessarily make headlines but exists as a vital part of the convention.
Watch above as Arlene speaks to a slew of notable personalities at the Rock The Vote #TruthToPower event in Philly, including Rosario Dawson and How To Get Away With Murder star Kendrick Sampson. "You need to get involved and you need to represent," says former Crash The Parties winner Wendy Carillo, "because if you don't vote, somebody else is going to decide for you, and what's the point of that?"
Keep it locked on Fuse.tv and Crashtheparties16.com this week for the rest of the Democratic National Convention, and be sure to follow @fusetv on Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat for further coverage of the DNC. Watch more highlights from DNC below:
