It's not easy for artists to set expectations for their performances especially at a large festival like Budweiser's Made in America, where there is a wide variety of genres and crowds. We chatted with Gallant, Gary Clark Jr. and Paul Banks & RZA of Banks and Steelz to see what their mindset was like while giving their all on those MIA stages.
"We always get some love when we come to Philly, but hopefully some of these Travis Scott fans that were looking at us kind of crazy might have dug something. It's good though," Clark says while laughing.
Watch to see all three artists as they explain how it depends on what the crowds are giving them and the dynamic energy. Also, check out Gallant's interview where he reflected on a major cosign from Sir Elton John.
