This weekend, Electric Zoo 2016 will celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Steve Aoki's label Dim Mak Records with an anniversary stage. The party will bring together the company founder with the likes of SBCR of Bloody Beetroots, 3LAU, Rain Man, ETC!ETC!, WatchTheDuck, Max Styler and more.
Watch above as Aoki reflects on the label's evolving sound, moving from punk and hardcore bands to the indie and electronic sounds of today, incorporating everyone from the The Kills and Bloc Party to Diplo and Bloody Beetroots along the way.
Aoki also shared details on his upcoming music that includes loads of special guests for his Neon Future III album (Lady Antebellum? Blink-182?) and who he's producing for lately (hey, Lil Uzi Vert!).
