2016 has been a big one for Bear Hands with the experimental Brooklyn band releasing their third album, recruiting a new member, and starting their own record label. All those important changes were on full display when the group took to Voodoo Music Fest 2016 in New Orleans.
Speaking to Fuse on festival grounds, the band detailed bringing their new album You'll Pay for This to life for the NOLA crowd, how recruiting keyboardist-guitarist Will Runge has changed the band dynamic, as well what it was like releasing music on their own label, Spensive Sounds.
