Young M.A Shares First Details on 'Her Story' Album, Swizz Beatz's Involvement: Watch

2016 has been a huge year for Young M.A with the Brooklyn rapper breaking out big time thanks to "Ooouuu." The summer-single-turned-ubiquitous-hip-hop hit has gotten remixes from everyone Remy Ma to Nicki Minaj, scored the MC a spot at the 2016 BET Hip Hop Awards, and just this week rose into the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. 2017 looks to be even bigger with the 24-year-old planning her debut full-length album Her Story, which she tells Fuse is slated for the first quarter of the year.

At the shoot to celebrate her selection as the latest Fuse First artist, Young M.A shared the first, exclusive details on the album. "It's definitely going to be a story, that's why it's called Her Story," the rapper says. "Everybody knows that how I spit: I storytell. It's going to feel like you're in my world and definitely feel like Brooklyn—you're going to get Brooklyn on that album. A lot of people are going to be able to relate a lot of things on it. I'm gong to get real personal."
